The goals of CHAT include bringing together researchers, educators, students, artists, and professionals to discuss, demonstrate, and celebrate new media in the arts and humanities. The biannual Festival was first hosted in 2010 at the University of North Carolina \u2014 Chapel Hill [site no longer active], reprised in <a href=\"http:\/\/chatfestival2012.org\">2012 at Duke University,<\/a> and in <a href=\"https:\/\/chat2014.wordpress.ncsu.edu\">2014 came to North Carolina State University<\/a>.
